Program Highlights

  • The Instructional Technology programis an innovative, award-winning graduate degree program.Most important is our reliance upon the college's social constructivist conceptual framework to guide all teaching, research, and service activities. The majority of the students in this program are part-time, distance-based practicing education professionals who learn together in regional cohorts. All of the content -- and nearly interactions with faculty and students -- is housed in an innovative online learning environment, called AET Zone. There are two tracks within this program:
    • Instructional Technology/Computers: designed for K-12 educators and administrators who want to combine studies in both instructional applications and computer technologies;
    • Instructional Technology/Computers, General: designed for those interested in teaching at a community college or working in corporate training settings.
