Regulated Entities
Consult the resources and lists below for information on entities, persons, and countries banned from export through the ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. The most significant to university research is the OFAC list of sanctioned countries. Research involving any entity or country on these lists almost always requires an export license.
These lists are only meant to be a resource. Please contact Dr. Bob Johnson in the Graduate School for a more specific and thorough check of entities involved in your research, or Dr. Jesse Lutabingwa in International Education and Development for clearance of your international travel. The University is required to keep records of compliance with export controls regulations.
