The Department of Technology graduate degree programs provide advanced education, research opportunities, and professional development in selected technical areas. Current trends suggest increased growth in job opportunities for individuals with advanced training in technical fields. Our graduate programs build upon the recognized excellence of our undergraduate programs in Appropriate Technology, Building Science, Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology, Technical Communications, and Technology Teacher Education.
Program Highlights
- You will construct a unique program of study that includes 18 credit hours of core classes and 18 credit hours of course work that is tailored to your interests, concentration area, and background.
- There is a Thesis option that is recommended for students who plan to pursue a doctoral degree or pursue in-depth research on a selected topic.
- You are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities to expand their professional network, such as: weekly graduate seminars, attendance at conferences, lectures, social events, etc.
- There are a variety of assistantships available within the program:
- Assistants to faculty
- Instructors of selected courses
- Assisting in funded research projects

Required Entrance Exam: GRE (score must be no more than 5 years old)
